    Ok When I demux MKV videos and put in after effects SOME parts get corrupted.

    They play fine using a vlc player, but get corrupted in after effects only.

    Vidoes are .264

    Maybe you need a working directshow filter. Can you play the mkv or x264 in wmp? If not you could try install ffdhow.

    Or reconvert to some lossless codec with xmedia recode, avidemux, etc.
