Recommendation? Long list of wants for DVD Player

I don't think what I want is out there yet. Of course, I want it all:

Formats: CD, CD/RW, SVCD, DVD, DVD-Audio, SACD, DVD+-R/+-RW, (Or at least DVD-R/-RW), MP3, JPG

Progressive scan

Would like a changer for 3-5 Cd/DVDs.

Optical hookup preferred, but Coax OK.

Oh, of course, quality picture.

Anyone know of anything like this out there. I've been scanning the net. Have found one or two with the formats, but lacking the changer, or vice versa. Maybe I give up on the changer...or wait a while.

From your location I assume that you live in the US (Kansas).

Progressive scan

Optical hookup preferred, but Coax OK.

99% DVD players will have optical as well as coaxials digital outputs. So no worries there. Not all players have progressive scan.

If you play DVD's only, then changer should not be an issue. If you are going to play (SVCD's and Audio CD's then a changer would be nice to have.

BTW, You have not added the following specs:

- Region Code Switchable
- Macrovision disabled
- NTSC+PAL

Of course, the above issues don't matter if you are not going to buy other region DVD's.

I know of two shops in the US and I have done business with them:

- If you live near Chicago, you could buy such a device at MiniMax Electronics on Michigan Ave.
- Another shop could be World Gift Center.

Both are BBB approved.
