  1. i was wonderinf if the old flask was able to encode into Svcd b/c it was able to make great vcds and i much dont like the newer verison

    With the bbmpeg plugin you can do it. You can also use the avisynt frameserver and frameserve to any mpeg2 encoder.

  5. What you do have against the newer versions?

    The newer versions (0.6 branch) are quite a bit faster than the 0.594 versions (20% faster on my P3 500 for VCD MPEG-1 with Panasonic). Furthermore, you can easily set mark in and mark out points...

    Also, it correctly handles some VOB files from DVDs not correctly handled by the 0.594 versions (e.g., Dreamworks DVDs).
