  1. hi all hows it going? right heres a tricky one. say the films 2 cd's. i convert them all to dvd via svcd2dvd+ ok. when i play in a standalone player it plays fine. if i skip from scene to scene its fine. BUT if u let the film play i.e watch the whole film, once it jumps from cd1 to cd2 the sound go about 1 sec out of sync and it looks like its dubbed!!! but if i skip back i.e so it starts from the start of cd2 its fine??? any ideas peeps

  2. It might be that your audio bit rate is to high. I did a DVD encode of LORD OF the RING with TMPG and the audio was at 384k and when I made the DVD the sound was wacky out. but if I played the MPEG 2 file that TMPG made it was fine . I then encoded the audio at 244k and ever thing was fine. I do not know if this will help but give it a try.

  3. i use scvd2dvd+ to do everything and i cant see an option to change it in there?

  4. you can't in svcd2dvdmpg+.

    here is what you can do:
    1. don't use ac3 in svcd2dvdmpg but mp2
    2. use tmpgenc the demux al the mpgs. then run the audio through besweet encoded it to 48MHz and encoded to ac3. then run a dvd author program like tmpgenc dvd author.

  5. well to be honest svcd2dvd+ does all of what u said? i dont use ac3 . just the mpeg2 layer stuff all through svcd2dvd+

  6. i know but if you want ac3 with 224 sound and not 384 you have to do it by hand.

    And if you use mp3 you can't try the option sugested cause it already is 224.
