  1. i used latest convertx2dvd to convert a film from .mkv, on windoze it plays fine but when i burn to disc the sound dissapears ? 1st i thought it was my dvd player then realised that it was the same in xp too, ive got full nero including the blu-ray/hd codec, though when i play the film in nero player it says doesnt support dts neo:6 but plays with sound anyway, i tried at a different bitrate ready to go onto an 8.5gb disc but it said dts neo:8 then, ive used convertx2dvds own burner to write it and nero, but still same, ive even used my other pc with a different writer in but same, ive done other mkvs fine but this one dont work
    can anyone help ?

Open the source file using a program such as MediaInfo and check the audio codec. Sounds like it is likely something abnormal that ConvertX2DVD doesn't support.
