hi all...
why is the movie after svcd2dvdmpg,shorter than the original
vcd,,if this keeps im looking for another method,,
i get this message in the mplex window,
selecting dvd o/p profile (incomeplete) !!!
tried both win xp+98...using latest svcd2dvdmpg+-
i let it do the whole lot,the ????_dvd file it creates
is much smaller than the original,,this is about the
same size as the vts_01_1 file in the VIDEO_TS folder
,,so i guess thats why the movie cut,,,
question is why,,,

Question is why...
You use lots of commas (,,,) and no capitalization!
At any rate...
Have you tried more than one movie?
There are lots of SVCD's out there with LOUSY quality, encoded by pirate groups and hackers, and one of the current drawbacks to SVCD2DVDMPG(+) is that it doesn't handle poorly or hastily encoded movies very well.

ok got it sorted,,wont say what it was,
in fear of being stupid,,,it was my fault,, -
NO! We need to know. Thats what a forum is all about. If we all kept our solutions to ourselves......
You won't be considered stupid. I'll bet you that someone else will be doing the same thing and if you share you'll be a god in thier eyes.
So.....SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
