Hi all,
I've been using DVD Maestro for my DVD authoring ie I use TMPFEnc to generate the *.m2v files and use seperate ac3/wav files for audio. It's a nice easy to use program BUT the movie review only appear to work with a hardware DVD card fitted..so the question is are there any other more modern authoring programs that can use separate video and audio sources (inc ac3) and will also give a preview of the finished DVD?
Hope this is not too dumb a question
Cheers

This might interest you still beta but looks promising. I am not sure if it has ac3 support you can check it out.

you could also just install cinemaster to get preview with maestro -- its on your install cd ..
you dont need the hardware decoder -
Install any DVD software player based on the ravsent player, like Matrox's DVD Player you can buy it from matrox web site for like 8bucks. It will enable the play function. Also if you have an ati vid card most of the dvdsowftware that comes with ati cards is based on it and will enable it. It uses some dll's or something you may find just the dll's somewhere.
