Hi,I'm in australia
I just got Pinnacle PCTV to capture directly from areal.
I did the auto scan to get all the chanels but it seems it can't get all of the TV stations. Is this normal? the picture is so bad.
I installed the original driver from the cd.
I have checked on some posting about this card and some people suggested to install other drivers. which one is the best?
Thanks
Dani

Hi,
Make sure you don't do the "fast" scan, and specify if you'ra on cable or antenna. If I do a "fast" scan, I just get 4 channels instead of the 34.Just because you aren't paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you! -
Thanks for the reply.
I'll make sure I don't do the "fast scan".
my next question is :
Do you get (kind of) pixelated picture when you view your TV (antenna)?
How do you get clear and good picture?
I tried to fine tune it but I had no luck so far.
Any help is appriciated.
Thanks

dunno, I don't have an antenna...
Picture is not pixelated.Just because you aren't paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you! -
If your resting your areal on your computer the issue is probly electrical interference. Especially if you have say, 2 computers back to back
-
hello again.
yes, I think your are right. electrical interference is the problem.
I tried to move(install) the card on different PCI slot but it seems it doesn't make any difference.
What should i do to get rid of the electrical interference?
Please help.
Thanks
