    i have an xvid that plays fine in my divx player but window media player only gives off a green tint. Also when i use virtual dub and tmpgenc it says that it can't decompress the audio source. Thanks for the help.

    Get Gspot from the Tools section and test your file, it will tell you the required codecs and if they are installed.
