  1. I have a SVCD MPEG2 movie which got a wierd aspect ratio
    4:3 but should be widescreen 16:9..

    I want to change it to 16:9 but don't know how..
    I have tested TMPEnc & VirtualDub but I can't open the mpg files with them...

    Please need help!

  2. i am not sure but you can try to play your movie using ZoomPlayer which you can dl from doom9.org. ZoomPlayer have a feature that enables you to change the espect ratio of the screen. Good Luck!

    No such thing. SVCD's are always 4:3 and 480x480. What you have is a letter boxed movie, there are black bars there as part of the encode. You can crop them off, but what are you going to do with the resulting MPG? To get a widescreen muvie fullscreen (assuming you have a 16:9 TV) you would have to encode to a DVD standard?
