  1. Running tmpgenc to convert *.d2v file and video file is coming up as unsupported. Have DirectX 8.1, and Divx codecs 3 and 4 loaded also. Tmpgenc.vfp is in the correct folder too. Please help.

I've had the problem of not being to open file types in Tmpeg but they were .m2v or .vob files. That turned out to be a problem in the windows registry. Another program was controlling the extensions. In my case restoring the registry to a previous version solved the problem. Do you have any other programs on your computer that can open .d2v files?

  5. for m2v files make sure you have the svcd plugin otherwise youll get the usopported file format error you can find it in the tools section

  6. It's been a while and I've had to reformat my computer since I've learned to do this. While searching for the answer to this before, I found it but not this time.

I am running Win2K Pro on an AMD 1.2 gHz machine with 256 meg RAM and 100 gig of HD space. I am having the same problem as before, and tried all the codecs except for one(avi-divx_codec...due to an error received during installation...unknown what the error is) and still coming up with the same problem.

No other program will run the .d2v file the DVD2AVI has created. I tried redoing the rip from SmartRipper and the DVD2AVI again, but still to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
