Here is what I have done.
Taken a 796mb avi file and converted it with Tmpgenc, creating a .m2v and a .mpa files.
I use IfoEdit v0.95 and click author new dvd, and load these 2 files into it, and save them to a VIDEO_TS folder.
At this point I have the problem..I use RecordNow MAX to burn to DVD-R and I get an immediate error. I am assuming the structure that IfoEdit sets up is not compliant for some reason?
What I have done is send the VIDEO_TS folder that IfoEdit made and run that through DVD2ONE and then I can burn. I'd rather not involve DVD2ONE with this process at all if possible, so what am I missing about IfoEdit? Any help is appreciated..Thanks

Did you run get VTS sectors?
After Ifoedit gets done authoring DVD close it. then reopen Ifoedit and open the VIDEO_TS.ifo file it just made. then click on Get VTS sectors.
Hope this helps.May the force be with you. -
Nope I sure did'nt do that., Ive been going by one of the guides here and it was'nt exactly the same scenario that I was going through. Thanks for the info..I will try that soon.
