  1. Hi, I'm new to vcd burning. So many questions .........

    1) If I make a vcd of say, 50Mb on a 700Mb disc, why can I not add to it later to fill the disc up?

    2) Why does a vcd of still images created on Nero Express not play on my dvd player, when the same images created on Pinnacle Instant CD/DVD work fine?

    3) I don't have a firewire card and download from my Sony video camera via the USB port, which is USB 1.1. If I upgrade my motherboard with one that has USB 2.0 ports, how much difference will it make to dv streaming? Is a firewire card much faster than USB 2.0?

    Thanks,

    Dave

    1) Becuse the whole structure has to be updated - it's not a matter of just adding a file. To boot, VCDs are buned DiscAtOnce.
    2) Because Nero sucks at (S)VCD authoring. Use a program specifically made for the task.
    3) No idea.
