    Hey everyone,

I used dvd decrypter on the latest harry potter, and swordfish. Put them into ISO format. The decryption went fine, then used shrink 3.2 and decrypter to go to dvd-r.

neither will play in my home player, they freeze, and jump around with poor picture quality. Here is the kicker, the originals both play fine on the home machine, and when I tried them on my computer......... they both play fine! I am lost on this one.

I need some advice, and should I just use DVD FAB instead of original decrypter?

ALSO, I downloaded IMGBURN, and tried to use it, it said the movie is copyrighted, and it cannot be used on copyrighted movies.......... What is up with that?

you have to use DVDFAB HD DECRYPTER to rip to your hard drive. DVD DECRYPTER is NO LONGER UPDATED. therefore use DVDFAB HD DECRYPTER which is frequently updated to bypass the new copy encryptions on new dvd movies. then use DVD SHRINK to compress and create a ISO. then use IMGBURN to burn to disc.

Sounds like a cheap blank. Do you use TY or Verbatim? (you should).

    Verbatims always.

I did the rip with fab, and then shrink, and then imgburn, and problem solved.

Interesting, i used the image created originally by dvd decrypter on some of the ones that were defective, then shrink/imgburn, and they turned out alright also, so the problem seems to lie in the final burn with dvd decrypter.

    thanks for the advice.....

FYI DVD DECRYPTER & IMGBURN are created by the same person, "LightningUK". Therefore use IMGBURN as it is updated and DVD DECRYPTER isn't.
