  1. I am trying to create a dvd-video file but I get a flickering every so often and was wondering how to get rid of it.

I am using cce 2.62 with 3 pass vbr avg 4300 most settings left alone except audio converted to 48000 and "dvd compliant" got checked.

My source is a tv rip of Smallville

IF it's a TV capture, I'd suspect a dropped frame(s). Is the 'jump' you describe in the source capture?

Heh, I get jumpy video when I upload my DV video with Ulead VideoStudio 7. Course, its been like that with other programs as well, it stops as soon as I convert it to DivX. I wonder why it does that.

  4. Turns out when I was testing my source I just wasn't paying attention at that part and missed it. Since then I have noticed that it is right in my satelite signal because I see it sometimes when watching live tv

Yup. Made that mistake a time or two myself, with audio sync problems. Finally watched the source file, only to find it was there already...
