sorry, but "v been telling you wrong. What I need to change is the Video Bit rate, this is what I was told to do "...This message is due to the incorrect video bit rate. All burning software when burn a movie to VCD format require a movie having a video bit rate of 1.15 Mbps. To resolve this problem set the video bit rate in the setup dialog box to 1.15 Mbps before start recording."
So, any help!!?? -

If your mpg is encoded with a non-standard bitrate, then the only way to fix it is to re-encode it. You can do this with TMPGenc which is in the tools section to your left. The easiest way to do this would be to first close the stupid wizard thing that pops up...then load your mpg as both the video and audio source. Then click load and load either the NTSC or PAL VCD template and hit start. If you live in the US, CAN, or JAP than you need to use NTSC, most other places use PAL.
As puertorican138 suggested, many dvd players are actually quite leniant with non-standard VCDs (XVCDs) depending on how non-standard they are. If your bitrate is not much higher than 1.15Mbps than you might want to just try burning to cdr/w to see if it works on your dvd player. Of course, when making non-standard disks there is no guarantee that it will work on any other dvd player, including the next one that you buy down the line. -
puertorican138 can you please not post every sentence in a different post? It makes the thread very difficult to read and unnecessarily wastes bandwidth. If you have something else to add then just edit your previous post.
