    recently downloaded movie from aol servers gangs of ny. when i extracted it it came out as an avi file. tried burning it as an vcd or svcd and nero wouldnt accept it file not recognized. tried burning it with discjuggler. the burn went thru but when i played it on dvd player blank screen. what am i doing wrong? i can burn bin and cue with nero as well as mpeg 1or 2 but why not the avi?

    you need to convert the avi file to mpeg1 or mpeg2. then burn. dont have nero convert the avi- it will look bad.

    look in the how to: convert section to the left
