I've noticed that when I don't use the wizard and hit the load button at the bottom of the main TMPGEnc Window, and look at the settings of the loaded template, that they're not the same settings as within the wizard... For example, the NTSC Template settings use Full Screen (keep aspect ratio) set whereas the wizard for a NTSC VCD is at Full Screen. This leads me to believe that the template has optomized settings whereas the wizard has default settings (like noninterlace where as the template outside of the wizard has interlace). I don't understand why the keep aspect ratio and other settings found by clicking the Expert button inside the Wizard Window aren't set to the 'optomized' settings as found in the template file. Is there a way to load the template file in the wizard? If not, is there a way to choose VBR over CBR when making an SVCD and not using the wizard?
