I usually use DivX 5.02pro for simple low-res caps ( noise reduction realtime...well, kinda lazyand my tv has lot of noise).
Two days ago i dl'ed and installed DivX5.03PRO (ad-ware version), and
now, when i try to select "quality"-based mode (in vdub) it's crashes (first - it say's smthng like "value too high", then locks up PC).
Unf. have no time for reinstalling OS, so switched back to 5.02 for now....
Any ideas?

When I installed DivXPro 5.03 the "1 pass quality based setting" disappeared from the dropdown menu!!
I don't think 5.03 has this setting.
So your 2 installs may have mixed, so that you see the option but it is not available.
I have returned to 5.02 now.

hi guys,
1 pass quality setting most definitely is available in 5.0.3. you have to de-select the 'Choose your profile' from the profiles tab. hope this helps
