    How to find out if a dvd-player suports one of there subtitle format?

    I cant find it in the specifications.

    the best thing you can do is try....

    try it on a short clip, burn it on a cdrw or cdr and see if it works

    i dont think you will get a better answer then this.

    You could go to the DVD Players Compatibility Chart :P to see if your player supports CVD and SVCD subtitles.
