How can i implement a .jpg or .gif in a mpeg movie???

i want to implement a picture in a mpeg or avi movie! Do u know how i could implement this???

A simple program to use comes with Paint Shop Pro, called Animation Shop 3.

Create a new picture or resize an existing one to the same size as a VCD picture. 352x288 (PAL) 352x240 (NTSC)

Add some effects, finally save it as an AVI, then convert to VCD.mpeg

choose a HORIZONTAL background in a photo program...(solid color or....)
take jpeg into the photo program and insert it on the background. make the pic as large as you can, on the background, keeping the correct specs. for the pic so it is not distorted. save as a jpeg.
In editing software, eg: Ulead 5.2 insert the saved jpeg in the timeline using image insert. either drag the frame to the length you want or change the length and it will automatically make frames to make the amt. of time you want.
