  1. I would like to learn how to use Avidemux 2.5 to insert a title frame into the beginning of the video, and save them together as a complete file. Thanks a lot!

One way: make a title image the same frame size as your video, eg as a PNG.

    Open this in Avidemux.

This will give you a one frame video. You can "Append" as many copies of this image as you like, adding one frame at a time.
    Then Append your video.

This is a bit tedious, there is probably an easier way, but it works.

To make a longer title sequence, you could say append 8 images, save that as an AVI, (make sure to set the same fps as your video) then open that and append multiple copies of this file to itself. Save and reopen a few times and you can double the length each time. Configure the video to be "high quality" so you don't lose much when you save and reopen. When it's long enough, append the actual video and save.

I've used about the same method AlanHK mentioned, with VirtualDub. After you duplicated about four frames, you can duplicate and paste them all, then you have four+four. Then eight + eight. It doesn't take that long to get enough, figuring roughly 30 frames per second. I'm sure there are better ways, but whatever works. You can probably also add fade-in/fade-out if desired on the ends with the proper filters.
