  1. Hi there,

I am currently working on several banners. In one banner I want to have an animated gif. I found a pretty cool solution to create very impressive flash banners and threfore use Camtasia. Now I have finally got my banner and I want to have a UFO zoom off at the end of the clip. I tried to take a snapshot of the last frame and paste it into powerpoint and then use the animated gif on it - make a screencapture, but this doesnt seem to work as the color slightly changes and this makes it look a bit odd.

So are there any other options or software that I may use with my final output where I can paste the animated gif inside? The final output can be many different video formats wmv, flv, swf, avi.

Please can someone help me? If the above description is too complicated try this:

Paste animated gif into avi video! Posssible? software?

  2. animated gif's often use a reduced color palatte , and may not look "correct" if used in video

one way to go about this is to decompress your gif into individual images (e.g. irfanview, photoshop, or search for gif tools), then insert the individual frames into a video using editing software (e.g. vegas or premiere)
