    is there any program that can check the divxx files that i d/l if they are corrupted or bad files?

    Divfix -- can detect some errors, it allows you to watch partial download of avi by rebuild index. make sure you make a copy of the avi b/4 running rebuild index b/c once you rebuild you cant resume download.

    VirtualDub 1.4b also has a CHECK FOR FREEZES option.....

    Actually, you CAN resume the download if you strip the index after you've rebuilt it.
