    My burner has just packed up, wondered if anyone knew where I can get a cheap replacement ?

    I think there was one in PCWORLD for £49.99.....may get one cheaper
    somewhere else.

    Try CCL Computers .

    I just bought a Liteon 52x24x52 for only £43.00 + vat. I can burn VCD's at 52 speed on 48x intenso media with this burner with no problems.

    Or you could go for a 48x12x48 for only £36.58 + vat.

    But what ever speed you go for, I would definately reccomend Lite-on
