  1. I aften find around 700-800 MB large bin/cue files. While trying to burn these images with for instance Nero, the progam won't do it because the files will not fit on the CD.

How do I handle these movies?
It's not unsusual the movies are in this size.

    Thx

Well m8 first of all, make sure your burner supports overburning.

If it's new burner then it most likely will .

Second you've gotta setup Nero properly to allow it to overburn, you do this by...

1.. Start up Nero and goto File/Preference's, in the window ythat will popup, change the RED MARKER setting to 85 and also uncheck the "CHECK FOR CORRECT DISC SIZE BEFORE BURNING".

2...Goto the Expert feature's TAB in the same window and ENABLE the "Enable overburing.....option", next change the Maximum CD length to 99min 59secs 00frm then just click APPLY at the bottom then OK.

You should now be able to copy 800mb onto a 80min cdr.

Do you mean you are trying to burn a VCD??

A VCD uses a different file system so a 800mb movie will fit on a 700mb disk.
I would not advise doing what was mentioned above.
When enabling overburn change max CD length to 82:00 mins.
You will only be able to fit about 820mb tops with overburn.
If u go higher the laser will go over your disk and could damage the re-writer.

    80 mins standard VCD = 800mb bin/cue = fits on 700mb disk.

    Use CDRWIN

    Goto load cuesheet

And burn, No need for any overburn options to be set

It really depends on your disc, writer, and also having software which allows overburning. Some people can burn 800MB, but with the discs I am using, I get problems once I reach 797MB overburn.

You will find that the Bin file is slightly larger sometimes than the actual Files that will finish up on the disk

    So a 805 - 810meg file will be ok

We may be talking at cross purposes. I was referring to the size of the mpeg. Whenever I download a .bin I extract the mpeg and remultiplex before buring to CD.
