  1. I have this movie in a cue and bin format, I have mounted the bin file and it contains these folders is there a way to convert the movie to .avi if so what folder is movie in as it looks as if its in the MPEGAV folder, but its a .DAT file

    it's a vcd - video on cd. the dat contains an mpeg-1 file. use something like vcdgear to extract the mpeg from the dat.

    Yes, you've mounted what we called a Video CD with motion video compressed with MPEG-1 standard (*mpg or *mpeg but MPEG-2 can have these extensions too). The motion video(s) is (are) in the "MPEGAV" directory as *dat file(s).

    You must first extract the video as a valid MPEG-1 file. You can use VCDGear as aedipuss mentioned or with Isobuster : open directly the *bin or *cue file and "Extract but filter" option each file in the "MPEGAV" dir (AVSEQ01.dat, etc). You will get your MPEG-1 files.

    You can convert your MPEG-1 files with Virtualdub, AviDemux to AVI.
