help ultra newbie

hello yall

i decide to burn several vcds to free up some space on my hdd and i am having problems with the video. I used nero to create the vcds and i managed to get 3 avi's onto the cd in vcd format. My problem is that when i go to watch the vcds on my dvd player there is no picture on the first two files but the third is fine.

what have i done wrong and what do i need to do to fix it??

first of all, don't use Nero to make VCD from avi.
