Nero reconverts the audio. Use something else like tmpgenc dvd author, dvd-lab or a free tool like guifordvdauthor.

well, i want to convert my vob files into an HIGH QUALITY xvid video, i've used other programs but it comes out all pixelated, i converted from vob to mpeg2 and the quality came out excellent its just that the sound comes out stereo ocassionally and mono usually, is there any special ID tag thingy that i can use to make sure its actually mono, i am 99% sure though its mono, i use the dbpoweramp IDtag viewer.

i dont want to author anything, i just want to rip the dvd to get music videos, make them into high quality xvid videos so i can watch them on my PC instead of the use of the DVD

Please include more information and I don't have to guess what you want in the end...I guessed a dvd...

Vob is mpeg2, no need to convert anything. Convert directly from the dvd or vob to HIGH QUALITY xvid avi using AutoGK, FairUse Wizard or AVi.NET.
