i have downloade what i suppose to be a AVI divx file, and when i convert it to vcd with TMPenc, and play the file, i have sound, but no video... When i then burn the file to a VCD using EZCD creator 5, wy DVD player recognizes it as a VCD, but won't play it...

Try a early verions of TMPenc 12d and also try CDRW 650MG instead of CDR's
