DVDit strange problem

i want tp author an mpeg2 file 3GB file
i used DVDit 2.5 PE everything was good untill i gave him "build DVD folder" i chose a path to my biggest HD 80GB and he pop up a window that say i do not have enough space!!
why?

How much space do you have left on the 80gig drive? I found that DVDit needs at least double the space to create the DVD folder(8-10gig for a 4.7gig DVD). Also you might want to check to see how big the DVD will be by checking the video section under the build menu.

i figure it out its ok...my temp dir was on 2GB space...
i have other problem:
i build a simple menu picture with PLAY on it
after burning when trying to play the movie on my stand alone dvd
it give me black screen insted of the main menu!
but when i play it in my DVD-ROM on my pc it shows the menu !!
why?
