  1. I'm trying to convert from SVCD to VCD becuase my player is an old karaoke player that only plays VCD. anyway I try to load up the SVCD in TMPGEnc and get an error that says "File "F:/blah/blah/blah/movie.mpg" cannot be opened, or unsupported" now I know it supports MPEG2's because I still have 11 days left on the MPEG2 trial function. So I try the panisonic MPEG1&2 encoder... and when I try to load the movie in there it says "F:/blah/blah/blah/movie.mpg cannot be used for encoding" ... now I know I have all the right settings up untill I have to open the SVCD file because I'm following one of those "for dummies" conversion walk-throughs on vcdhelp.com... I've also gone as far as to install the latest aspi drivers didn't help though... Does anybody have any suggestions of what I can try next. I've tried 3 diffrent movie files with the same results. by the way I have a dog and 4 fish if that makes any diffrence... any help would be great... thanks

  3. In the prep of that guide it's telling me to download TMPGEnc, extract it to a folder and run the install.bat file... but I donwloaded TMPGEnc-2.59.47.155-Free and there is no bat file period. Did I download the wrong version? or are they not including the .bat file anymore for some reason?
