having trouble playing vcd's on my player

[Unforgiving]

Let me start off by saying that you guys have helped me tons just by reading all your info here, but I am new to this and having trouble getting cds to play in my dvd player. The player was givin to me so I do not have the docs to see what it plays.
the model I have is an RCA RC5220P
what cdrws can I use to watch them on that player
if this player cannot play them what is a real good dvd player that does play them.

when youre on VCDhelp.com on the toolbar on the left there is a heading that says "DVD Players" click that and you can search to see what your DVD player is compatable with.
