imgburn hasn't been updated for awhile. but you could say the same thing about dvd.

hmm are other thing happening on computer like virus scans while you're burning ? since you're windows 11 you should have a computer with the specs to handle a dvd burn. and since you mentioned all night. you obviously are not using the computer the entire time of the burn process. hmm...

let me know if using imgburn helps. and what brand of blank discs are you using ? can you set thing your on your computer so that the burner is running at usb 2.0 speeds ??

    good luck.

  3. Using my laptop Windows 7 64-bit.
    This is what I used:
Half height DVD optical drive: MATSHITA DVD-RAM SW-9585
Mounted in a USB 2.0 external enclosure: Mad Dog brand

    Nero DiscSpeed: Disc Info
    Basic Information
    Disc type: : DVD-RW
    Book Type : DVD-RW
    Manufacturer: : Verbatim
    MID : MCC 01RW11n9
    Write speeds: : 1 X - 2 X
    Blank Capacity : 4.38 GB
    : 4489 MB
    : 4707319808 bytes
    Extended Information
    Layers : 1

Using ImgBurn to burn a movie compressed to DVD5.
    Time to burn duration: 00:30:05

If A DVD-R or DVD+R SL was used it would have been faster. As I could have used 8X speed.
The DVD-RW was burned at 2X.
