@ProWo Thanks for that, yes I'm sorry to have troubled you but the issue was the Video stream's unusually long Title name, I should test more thoroughly in the future before jumping to conclusions, I discovered another typo when hovering over the Title column, it reads as "Stream Ttile" and I noticed the Filename column has a forward/back slash that can be toggled, what does it do exactly?

The filename column can be clicked to order streams by name; the sign isn't a forward/back slash, but an up/down arrow.

In the next nightly build (3.5.6.02), I’ll be adding HDR-to-SDR conversion using libplacebo tone mapping.
The advantage of this is that the dynamic metadata from HDR10+ and Dolby Vision (currently for profiles 5 and 8.x) is taken into account during conversion.
This also allows Clever to tone map Dolby Vision correctly.

This requires Vulkan drivers to be installed.
These are usually installed along with the graphics driver.

To check if Vulkan is available, simply open a command prompt and enter:

vulkaninfo

If data is displayed, Vulkan is active and can be used by Clever.

When I try to downmix to WAV, if I want to select PCM S24LE, the button simply disappears. To make it reappear, I have to press "Channels Change" again and select 2 (stereo) to be able to manipulate the bit depth.

Now, within the downmix options, which one do you recommend for movies, or what should we consider when choosing one of the options for this parameter?

If you click on Downmix options and hoover over the single settings you'll see the formula that's being used.
I usually go with simple, a mix that only blends the left, right, and front center channels; the surround channels are omitted here. This usually results in audio with clearer dialogue on the TV.

When I click on HDR under Video Options & selecting the HDR-SDR tonemapping options, a new dialog box "Dynamic metadata is discarded." pops up & after selecting OK it changes my "Profile" settings from "Auto" to "High", would you be able to prevent this so it respects my settings? Also when I do change it back to "Auto" & if I decide to deselect the "HDR" box under Video Options the Profile will also revert back to "High" again, is this the intended behaviour, can you adjust it so it remains on "Auto"?

This is intentional, to ensure that the resulting SDR video has 4:2:0 chroma subsampling.
You're converting a Dolby Vision video to SDR using standard tonemapping.
Just try switching the setting from "High" to "Auto" before the conversion, and you'll see that the SDR video has 4:4:4 chroma subsampling.

BTW:
For HDR+ / Dolby Vision to SDR conversion, you should try the new libplacebo tonemapping instead of the standard mode tonemapping. This method also takes the source file's dynamic metadata into account.

@ProWo I unfortunately can't take advantage of the new more advanced Tonemapping settings as I have an older GTX-680 GPU that predates Vulkan encoding/decoding HWA support, I thought most video is encoded as YCbCr 4:2:0, I know Dolby Vision "tunneling" carries 12-bit YCbCr 4:2:2 data in an RGB 4:4:4 8-bit transport but MediaInfo still reports the Dolby Vision video stream's Chroma subsampling as 4:2:0.

When set to auto, no profile is selected, and the encoder chooses the appropriate one on its own.
I tested this with a DV Profile 7, and the result was 4:4:4 chroma subsampling.
You can use auto if you want, but I won't change the automatic setting to high.

I wasn't suggesting to change the automatic setting to High, I was merely curious why after explicitly setting the Profile to Auto it reverted to High after selecting the HDR to SDR settings but I understand you already explained that but in my case both resulted in 4:2:0 Chroma Subsampling in each scenario.

The preview now use scaling, when you disable "Keep duration" at video encoding.

But when you disable "Keep duration" and combine it with any rotate/flip filters, your code use
"FFplay.exe -ss 3 -vst 0 -ast 1 -vf vf,scale=852:480"...
which does not work till you remove "vf,"

HDR-to-SDR conversion using libplacebo tone mapping also works.

That's to be expected, because the ffplay commandline relies on the duration info.
