I've tried a variety of the tools recommended on the site but being on Windows 7 is not great for that, for one reason or another. I was able to finally get HellYes to work, but only 540p. Is that the max limit for Channel4 or is there a trick to getting higher resolution?

HellYes gives the resolution your browser gets. And that's normally 1080. If windows7 is beyond resuscitation why not use a flavour of Linux? Linux Mint finds favour with beginners.

I'll try this, thank you! Technically 3.8 is the latest supported version for W7 but through sweat and tears I've managed to get 3.10. Hopefully that will help.
