Image Source greyed out - Audio Visualiser

I want to add an audio visualizer to my audio but the image source is completely greyed out. I am new to this stuff and this seems very user unfriendly to me. I used this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsf65yVbing&t=221s . I even click on the add picture but nothing happens. I have been to so many forums and I just want to add my audio visualizer. What on earth is going on and how do I even begin to solve this???
