[SOLVED] [VirtualDub2] Plug-in to read libaom-av1 codec?

Hello,

I like VirtualDub2 because it loads fast and I find its UI better than AviDemux.

But it hasn't been updated since Marc 2020, and it fails reading a file whose video is encoded with libaom-av1 ("FFMPEG: Unsupported codec (av01)").

Is there a plug-in available? If not, what other free software should I try?

Er… not so great: Audio works, but I get no video, even with View > Pane layout > Both panes:

FWIW, no problem reading the same file in VD2 Build 44282 release March 2020.
