Hello Aqzs, I tried what you suggested (WITHOUT log level OFF), downloading the lower resolution in order to speed up the procedure and this time I oddly got another error concerning access the C:\ path but I didn't get this kind of error before now.

Sorry I don't know how permissions are handle on windows, maybe try to download in another folder. You are not supposed to download in C:\
Try running the command from somewhere else.
Or add :

--save-dir 'C:/downloads/'

partially good news: I managed to download the video without any error (pls see attached picture) and now I got the video as a single playable file but when I try to play it by VLC or other video programs, it tells me codec not supported. Unsupported encoder:
VLC cannot decode the format " " (No description for this codec). Any idea?

Colon (:) is an illegal character for file names, change it or remove the --save-name option completely.

Yes unbelievable and unfortunately it happened to me
I know VLC is a good player, it's 3.0.11 but the other mkv video I downloaded by my friend Aqzs works perfectly so I don't think it's a VLC problem...
I have also this problem with that file using other video players installed in my PC.

ps: anyway, I'll soon update it to the latest version, just to avoid....

Thanks mate, I am the admin with full complete rights on this machine and I don't think to have any permission problem now.
I succeeded in downloading the mkv file as a single file but now I have an encoder issue with the file I downloaded (please see attached warnings during procedure by N_m3u8DL-RE.exe utility).
It's not a problem due to VLC (it's updated now at latest version) o any other player because I downloaded the mkv file that Aqzs sent me and it works perfectly on VLC and the other players.
Very odd situation!
In any case, since - thanks to Aqsz - I now have the mkv video file decrypted in HD, I'm going to make another attempt/test by downloading a new video to understand if the same odd problem happens again with a different video.

Friends, I finally managed to download the first movie without any hitches and strange problems.
I did a quick test by downloading the hr version and everything finally worked perfectly!

You aren't doing it right. Go to left corner down, open start, search and open CMD Command Prompt. Type cd your_directory. For example if you N_m3u8 tools are in C:\Users\my_stuff then type cd "C:\Users\my_stuff" . Only then you may drop your N_m3u8 download command. If it doesn't work then, show screenshot with that exact step.
