I watch retail DVDs on my PC and use VLC Player. Which Deinterlacer should I choose in VLC when I watch DVDs? I've tried several Deinterlacers and I don't see a difference in any of them. Some of my retail DVDs are very clear thru VLC and some are kind of grainy, poor resolution. All of my DVDs are from major film studios.

Bob if your PC is slow or you get jerky motion with others. That it does what the field order flags say so you'll know if the disc was mastered properly as it will stutter if the order is wrong. Yadif or yadif2x depending if it's 24p or 30i material otherwise. You should *definitely* see a difference between Bob and the other 2 though
if all else fails read the manual
