  1. I am trying to rip some disks to my Mac running Sonoma so that I can add them to my Plex Server
For Blu-rays I have tried various rippers including MakeMKV to just copy the disk to my drive.
I don't mind paying, but so far have not found anything that maintains the original video quality and Audio formats.

Secondly, using two different Readers I have not been able to mount UHD disks on the system. I can see the OS trying to read the disks and then ejecting them. The newest player is the OWC Mercury Pro 16X Blu-ray.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

MakeMKV copies the original video quality from the film as well as the audio quality. In order to read 4K Bluray you need a compatible reader, as far as I can see yours is not. Here you can find a couple that are https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=19387

  4. DVDFab is a great tool to copy and rip discs. There is also a Mac version.
