Could anyone recommend a setup for ripping a commercial Blu-ray disc to a file on a Mac without a disc drive? I'm unsure if it's UHD, it is this: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Ronin-Blu-ray/177295/

I've tried two external, USB "Blu-ray" drives so far and neither result in my computer reading the disc let alone recognising the drive. After looking more in depth at the reviews it appears maybe they aren't compatible with Mac. I have tried the Samsung DVD/Blu-Ray writer SE-506.

So, does anyone have a setup (including a recommendation for the external drive, if possible) they could recommend? Thanks for your time.
