Finding the PSSH in Widevide encrypted video?

Hi, I'm pretty new to this so please bear with me..

Trying to download an encrypted stream (link below), I think I have everything I need (mpd/license) apart from the PSSH to generate the key

Would someone kindly hold my hand?

I've tried cdrm project just to compare it with a local script that works, and it crashes. Most likely because of IP difference. Try one of the key extractors from the sticky threads. I can't give you the keys for your content since I don't have a VPN, but I can guide you to tools that work.

You could call them whatever you want.
The sticky threads contain everything from All-In-One downloaders (Devine, widefrog, Ozivine) to scripts that are just made to get you the keys, which people call 'key extractors'. Some are, for example: WidevineFetch (totally non-biased), AllHell, AllHellGui, ...

It's not the title, but rather the functionality. You could try one of these. I am not gonna recommend one specifically since I don't have favorites. Experiment on your own and pick your favorite one. It will do you better.

As bonus, there's also a downloader for free dazn.com content that automated everything with just one input URL. However, if my memory isn't failing me, I believe they recently changed the magic user agent trick. So even if you get the keys you might still have trouble downloading for specific content
