You didn't get the 1080p manifest using the trick. Maybe someone can help you with this. By the way, do you know of any raiplay videos that use DRM and doesn't enforce VPN restrictions?

Thanks @shellcmd. Unfortunately I can't rely on VPNs since I only use free ones. And raiplay is kinda picky when it comes to those (most of the videos I play are just stuck on loop). I did manage to find on my own random videos that played ok in my country though none used DRM so they were useless. Maybe I'll find one by luck that has DRM seeing as your video has it and doesn't need italian ip.

I didnt use any vpn to download the video with N_m3u8DL-RE, I only used the vpn to get the PSSH and mpd link
