This is a problem caused by corsFetch which will be fixed in the future. (GH Issue #26)

A temporary workaround is to run the browser with only the tab of the target you wish to retrieve the key for open, or reload the page several times and try again until it works.

Alternatively, if the site does not care about the Origin header, you can use the pyfetch scheme until the problem is fixed.

I see no answer for my question so i will ask again what may cause this error?

I decided to check how add-on works on Linux OS. I installed Linux OS, but my Firefox Browser on this resource 'https://www.vdocipher.com/blog/2014/12/add-text-to-videos-with-watermark/' does not play video. You wrote that it works for you. Could you tell me which Linux OS you are using? Does the video from 'https://www.vdocipher.com/blog/2014/12/add-text-to-videos-with-watermark/' play on your Linux OS?

The video Window loads but first end up with this:
    Code:
    Error
60072050. Please disable VPN/Proxy to play video.
Easy to fix, but then next one is:
    Code:
    Error
60072049. Embed code reused. Try reloading this page

No one has responded to you, because you have to be ******* retarded.

Everyone that uses the extension gets that error, it can be ignored

The reason it probably doesn't show up, again, is probably because you're a retard -- have you clicked the extension icon? if it still doesn't show up do you have it to allow access to private windows? Can almost guarantee it's one of those 2 things. Maybe look around and don't ask the same question 4 times next time.

Problem is with that is that it's not uniformly presented in every site - some have it in the URI, some have it in JSON responses, some are via graphQL, so on and so forth.

I have managed to get it working on FF.

Not using VPN and clearing cookies helped.

Yet, unable to get the keys for the short video
(using real CDM) but not looked through this thread
properly to find clues as to why it's not working.....

Make sure you have license request blocking enabled. The OTP is truly an OTP, too many bad requests and you'll fry that CDM even if you never got a key successfully once.

  15. With the recent addition of several new schemes such as ...

    Vodafone
    Polsat
    CanalPlus
    CanalPlus2
    VUDRM
    moTV

Is it too much to ask/expect that the Widevine Demo URL page (https://gist.github.com/FoxRefire/98bf4d339731679e394fa2ed5a9f5561) will be updated to reflect urls that facilitate the validation of these additional sites?

Such and endeavor will be highly beneficial to all.

    Thanks

But design IMHO is not as important as functionality ......

Aside from the design, everything else is working smoothly though I havent been able to test amazon or canal+ yet. And of course vdocipher, but thats only due to my emu cdm.

  20. In the pre.py we have

what is the equivalent to this using javascript and WVCore.Server?

It looks like the legacy branch uses a remote server, and the next branch is using pyodide -- you're asking a question about old / unsupported software. It's not "putting the blinders on". If you were trying to learn, you would have looked yourself, and not asked about legacy software when the developer has dropped support for it.

Crazy that some of you are so afraid to update software lol.

I am under no illusion that the forum is not infested by those looking to make a "profit" from work of others
(and I am not suggesting that @jack_666 is one of them)
but learning legacy system does not make sense to me either ......

    Thanks
Came back to answer this question, regardless of your ignorance.

If you check WVCore.Server's Github, you will see there is no equivalence to
    Code:
    cdm.open
, in fact the WVCore.server uses This C# library to handle backend stuff. You can view the C# equivalence from the source code here.
    Quote Quote
  26. @jack_666
The trick isn't looking for somethings same - it's figuring out what happens when cdm.open() is called by the interpreter.
Then, when you understand that, check the WVCore.server codebase and look for how that would be done in C#

    Legacy
Requests to the license server are made from the web browser, but the key acquisition itself depends on WVCore.Server API.
WVCore and the framework (.NET) are open source, but may contain non-free blobs such as telemetry owned by Microsoft.
The WVCore have to set up separately outside the browser and is not protected by the browser's sandbox.
It will not be actively maintained unless someone is found to continue developing it as an LTS.

Not sure what you don't get here. I linked you the open source code and it's equivalence.

As mentioned in the notes, it is not actively maintained and won't be unless someone supports Long Term Service.

Hence why the dev switched to pywidevine, it is still actively maintained and is easier (as a dev) overall to use.

Is it possible Remote CDM from Kodi Inputstream, I see that it is potential (root is required).

If I see well, I have L1 here, I don't have to pull out any keys, and with the help of Frida Server it could be something.

The **** are you talking about. RemoteCDM is a function of pywidevine.

What you're implying is not possible.
