Right now I'm using DVDStyler to create DVDs. I noticed that when I stuck one of the DVDs into a DVD recorder and tried to record over it an error came up saying the disc was finalized, and when I went into the menu the Disc Edit option was disabled. How can I stop DVDStyler from finalizing the discs so I can use them again? The discs are DVD+RW by the way.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

Finalazing is an essential part of the actual burn process since a player could not play the created disk.
So the alternative is to select 'just generate' from the burn options. Then the programs creates the necc. files so you can test the dvd before you actually burn a disk. (Use imgburn to do the actual burning then) -
From DVD+RW Alliance:
Do DVD+RW discs need to be finalized?
No. Everytime a DVD+RW disc is ejected, either from a DVD+R/+RW drive in a PC or from a DVD+R/+RW video recorder, it automatically contains the needed information for the disc to be read in a normal DVD-Video player or DVD-ROM drive. There's no need to perform a time-consuming "finalisation" process on the disc, as is required for all other rewritable DVD formats, and for CD-RW. Likewise, there is no such thing as "unfinalizing" a DVD+RW disc: you can always make modifications or add new contents to a disc without performing some special procedure in advance.
Perhaps something else is going on.
