    Hi guys, I have an MKV movie that I need to cut some scenes that I donīt like in the movie and once finish I need to save the final result with all the original bitrate, full resolution etc

    Please could you recommend a program?

  2. You want to cut out some parts of a movie and save the result (not really to edit a movie). This can be done without the need to re-encode if the cuts are done on video keyframes. A good choice for this would be Avidemux for a mp4 or mkv file. However it doesn't handle extras such as subtitles, etc.

    What lossless cutter would be recommended for mkv files with subtitles, etc. ?

    Thank You, is an MKV movie 1920x1080 that I need to cut some scenes and save again in MKV full resolution and same bitrate

  4. If your movie doesn't have soft subtitles you need to keep (subtitles that can be turned off, in text or image format) you can use Avidemux in copy mode.
    Maybe there are alternatives that can also handle subtitles.
    With all lossless cutters, cutting will occur on video keyframes (for frame accurate cutting you would need to re-encode video which degrades quality).
