  1. I have downloaded some Rumble videos. Some of them offer subtitles.
I would like to know if there is a free tool to download the subtitles as well.

use the browser add-on called the stream detector, set it to regular URL and play the video you see VTT click
on the subtitle you wish to download and use yt-dlp to download the subtitles. yt-dlp "https://sp.rmbl.ws/s8/11/b/N/d/z/bNdzf.cfC

Thank you! I downloaded the subtitle fine. I had yt-dlp installed but never (knowingly) used it. The addon really worked. Fantastic.

  6. Use Developer Tools (F12) in a web browser, load the page, search the Network tab for VTT.

English subs: right click and save as: https://sp.rmbl.ws/s8/11/b/N/d/z/bNdzf.cfCwZd.vtt

VTT is the same as SRT except for a little junk at the start. You can remove that with any text editor, like Notepad.

Excellent. I just tried it and it works too. The only difference is that I right-clicked and chose Open in new tab because I couldn't find Save As. Firefox prompted me to save the subtitle. All done! Thanks for this. I had no idea it could be done without addons.

If you prefer to use a GUI, then use IDM (Internet Download Manager) it will let you download the vtt files after starting the show.
