Hi, I have encoded 2 different clips both 10 seconds long and contain the same music track. The first clip contains footage shot from a moving car. The second is comprised of a single still image (picture of a map). When I encoded the clips using tmpg with the proffesional VBR quality settings linked on this site I found that both clips were of the same physical size (MB) on my drive. Can someone please tell me why the clip made up of the still image is not smaller since there is no motion. Thanks,
Garyk

Maybe you do not have 0 (zero) as minimum bitrate.
"Enable padding" is maybe also on. -
I changed the minimum bitrate to 50 Kb/s, and that did the trick. Thanks for your help.
