Monitor flicker

I posted a message through yesterday about different avi formats, and got a reply to use the nimo codec pack, its working fine and would like to thank tommyknocker for the info, the only thing is, since I installed it my monitor keeps on flickering on and off, I dont know if this is to do with nimo or what, can somebody please help, Thanx.................

Could be a conflict with your video card drivers or the wrong refresh rate.

There is a warning during the installation about one of the drivers in the package. I have also found that some of the other drivers not mentionned by them also caused conflicts or replaced working divers with non-working versions. I had to deselect a number of drivers otherwise my Intervideo apps no longer worked. I kept getting illegal instructions after installing the full package (-1).

My suggestion is to uninstall the pack and just install what you feel you absolutely need.

I had to do it by trial and error so don't remember which drivers I reselected in the end.

If you installed 50 Build 8 then that is your problem - this version has some instability issues in addition to being bundled with spyware. Install 50 Build 7 or Nimo Lite Pack.
